A GLIIMPSE OF TOUR

At ClearEast Trip, we offer more than itineraries we guide mindful journeys. This sample journey through Sikkim reflects our clarity-first approach to travel. Every trip is crafted with your preferences in mind whether it’s local transport or private, homestay or hotel, group exploring or solo stillness. It’s your trip, your way. –

Why people love Sikkim

If you want clean air, mountain views, peaceful roads, friendly people, and slow travel, Sikkim is that place. It feels safe, calm, and beautiful without being too crowded (if you pick the right months).

Best season to visit Sikkim

Best months

  • March to June: pleasant weather, clear views, great for sightseeing
  • September to November: super clear skies + best mountain views (post-monsoon)

Many travel guides recommend March – June and Sept – Nov as ideal.

Months to avoid if you hate rain/landslides

  • May to September is monsoon season; it can rain a lot and roads may get tricky.

Snow season

  • Mid-November to February: cold, some places get snow; great if you want winter vibes (but North Sikkim may be weather dependent).

Important festivals in Sikkim

If you want a trip with local energy and culture, plan around these:

  • Losar (Tibetan New Year): usually around early February
  • Bumchu (Tashiding Monastery): Tibetan calendar-based, usually Feb – Mar
  • Pang Lhabsol: usually late Aug / early Sep (Tibetan calendar-based)

(Festival dates shift yearly because they follow the Tibetan lunar calendar.)

Top 10 places to visit in Sikkim

  1. Gangtok – cafés, viewpoints, MG Marg vibes
  2. Tsomgo (Changu) Lake – iconic mountain lake
